Getting Help
Congratulations for taking the first step to getting help! Wanting to change things up is a courageous choice. Choosing a therapist can be overwhelming, daunting and just plain exhausting. When looking for a therapist try to understand your needs. What is it you are wanting help/support with? Is it depression, anxiety, self worth, conflict? You get to be the driver in this process. Don't be afraid to ask the questions that you need to to make sure it's a good fit. 70% of the effectiveness of therapy is the relationship you build with your therapist. Make sure you are a part of that process. Many therapist can help with whatever your issues might be. Make sure you choose someone that matches your unique style.
